Setting traps in the wetlands

Friday - Enviro day

Ava and Kaylee wrote....

Today we took the traps that were set above our school and cleaned them up then we put peanut butter in them for bait.  Next we set them in the wetlands to catch pests... 

We drew a map of where we placed them and next we have to record on the trapping website where we have moved them too.

We set 9 traps.

Matariki - creating the moon phases

Today we used oreo cookies to create the moon phases.

First we had to work out how many cookies were in a packet.

 

We then got into groups and tried to create the moon phases from scraping the icing off.
